Preferred Collection Volume: 3-5mL adult, 1-2mL child Specimen Type: Tissue, Biopsy 5mmx5mm freshly collected in 10mL sterile transport medium. Do not put in formalin or other fixative. Specimen Type: Slides, Glass Two smear or touch preparation slides for FISHs test only Specimen Type: Tissue, Paraffin Embedded Please call lab for quantity of slides varies depending on tests performed and FISH tests only. Chromosomal analysis are only performed on freshly collected specimen. Please call cytogenetics lab with any questions. |
