| Collection Requirements | Container: Lavender (EDTA) collection
tube Specimen Type: Peripheral blood, bone marrow Preferred Collection Volume: 1 mL Minimum Collection Volume: 0.5 mL Specimen Handling; Specimen must arrive within 72 hours of collection (48 hours for ACD). Peripheral Blood: 1 ml whole blood in EDTA preferred. ACD is acceptable. Send specimen at room temperature or with cold pack (April-October). Bone Marrow: 1 ml bone marrow in EDTA preferred. ACD is acceptable. Send specimen at room temperature or with cold pack (April-October).
