Specimen Requirements
| Collection Requirements | Leukemia: 2.0 mL of bone marrow fluid (not decalcified core) in
in EDTA or ACD. Rejection Criteria: decalcified bone marrow cores, heparinized bone marrow. Methodology: Tumor DNA is harvested from bone marrow. After routine multiplex PCR amplification using software-designated primers, the amplicons are employed in a primer extension step. Corresponding pathologist’s report must accompany specimen. |
